Every encrypted link contains all information needed for decryption. The decryption key is embedded in the URL fragment (#) and never leaves your browser.
When accessing an Encipher.Me link, the message is automatically decrypted in the browser. The server never receives the decryption key - only the encrypted version is transmitted.
After the first retrieval (or after the set limit), the encrypted message is automatically deleted from our servers. Re-access is then no longer possible.
We don't log IP addresses, access times, or other identifiable information. Communication is completely anonymous and leaves no digital traces.
